A Bit About Me....

After graduating from naturopathic college in 2001, while working in a busy herbal dispensary, I trained in energy healing as I was inspired to explore the metaphysical aspects of health and dis-ease. This training, named Natural Healing Science (Auric Healing) is based on Barbara Brennan's 'Hands of Light' model and the Western Esoteric Healing tradition. A core principle is that healing is facilitated in partnership with, and directed by, the client's soul and 'higher self' (not the practitioner's personality self). Here I gained a solid grounding in metaphysical anatomy & physiology, and in working with clients in a safe neutral space.

​During this time I also began working with First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® in 2003, and gained my Diploma in New Zealand Native Flower Essence Therapy in 2009 when the qualification first became available. I’d been introduced to vibrational medicines at college and was keen to learn more. And I sure did! The teachings weave together so much ancient and modern wisdom, and the scope of these essences is immense - here I found a revolutionary, truly holistic 21st century vibrational medicine kit I could really be in relationship with. I have enjoyed the great privilege of working with these sacred plant medicines to support many people of all ages through their ups and downs, growth, healing and evolution.  First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® have also completely transformed my life in so many ways, for which I am immensely grateful. I have deepened my relationship with them by working through the Medicine Woman Centre for Shamanic and Esoteric Studies® programs.

Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy has also long inspired me as another powerful therapy which works in a cooperative healing partnership with the body’s innate wisdom. I love this profoundly supportive, nourishing and restorative therapy, which empowers and facilitates the body’s amazing ability to heal and self-regulate. I love how it can enable a more conscious, harmonious relationship with one’s body, mind, emotions and life. I’ve found it to be really helpful for stress management, supporting embodied integration of the shifts that occur during life changes and personal development, and a wide variety of health issues. I sometimes use essences alongside cranio to help my clients integrate the shifts they make in session.

I gained my Diploma in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) in 2016 and have done several postgrad trainings and repeated foundation seminars. I supported students and the tutor team as student assistant on the 2 year Body Intelligence BCST foundation training Wellington 2022-23 and will step up as tutor assistant in 2024-25.

In 2023-24 I'm studying with The Centre For Healing (Melbourne) and working towards certification in Embodied Processing  and Root Cause Therapy.
